Anthrax Through the Mail
What
are the odds?
Currently there are two missing components in the
equation:
- How
many Letters have been sent
- How
much anthrax was in them
Here is what we do know:
- Some
of the anthrax sent has been determined to be of “professional
grade”.
- Prior
to September 11 Anthrax could easily be shipped commercially into the
US through normal channels by mislabeling.
- A
single gallon of professional grade Anthrax developed in the USA can
contain eight billion lethal doses, enough to kill every man woman,
and child on the planet ----
- A
single loosely sealed letter can contaminate everything it touches,
including the air around it whether opened or not.
- Your
letter need not be deliberately contaminated to be a carrier; it may
have simply been in the vicinity of the “carrier letter”.
- It
is unlikely you will know you have been infected until after
contracting the disease.
- Spores
have been known to have an incubation period as long as two months.
- If
appropriate antibiotics are not started before development of
symptoms, the mortality rate is estimated to be 90%
- In
nature, anthrax is enormously resistant to destruction. During World
War II, Britain tested anthrax-laden explosives at Gruinard Island off
Scotland. The spores were still viable four decades later
- Spores
can only be destroyed by steam sterilization or burning.
Disinfectants won't work.
- Shutting
down the US Postal Service will have a devastating effect on the US
Economy.
Is your
Drinking Water Safe?
At this very minute someone could be pumping any
number of contaminants through a regular hose faucet attached to their
house and infecting everyone downstream.
You be the judge.
Our whole social infrastructure is built on trust;
unfortunately we didn’t factor in Suicidal Terrorists bent on the destruction of civilization.
Here are three practical things we can do:
- Replace
Postal Mail with Email and the Internet.

- Buy

- Avoid
crowded or commercially important enclosed areas with forced air
systems that might attract Terrorists.
- Above
all THINK FOR YOURSELF! We
must remember, the Governments primary concern is to protect the
economy. We have become
involuntary soldiers in this war on terrorism and like any soldier on
the front lines information is intentionally withheld from us so that
we will perform our task. Individually
we have become nothing but a number and as such are expendable.
The media aside from its own self-interest is force fed the
information it disseminates. The only way we can protect ourselves and those who
depend on us in the current situation is to take the relevant facts
that we are given and apply some introspection.
